Join our Board of Directors
Main Street Hanford (MSH) is looking for three candidates to serve a three-year term on the MSH Board of Directors. As a board member, you will be able to make a direct impact on our efforts to achieve our goals. We're looking for individuals who are dedicated to advancing the program's mission and objectives by contributing their time, experience, and skills to the MSH board.
While the board of directors is responsible for overseeing our team, it does not handle day-to-day operations. Main Street Hanford board members are encouraged to volunteer, share ideas and opinions, support the team, and have fun!
To be eligible for consideration, a candidate must be a Main Street Hanford member. Any business owner or official designee who is required to pay the additional business license fee for the Downtown Business Improvement District is considered a member. Board meetings are typically held on the last Monday of each month at 5:00 pm at the Main Street Hanford office.
We have three vacancies in the next election cycle, and nominations must be received at the MSH office no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, February 20th, 2026. Ballots will be mailed to all Main Street Hanford BID members, and the results will be announced publicly at the Main Street Hanford Annual Meeting on Monday, April 27th, 2026, at 6:00 pm. New members will begin their term with an orientation board meeting and the election of officers in May. Please reach out to the Main Street Hanford office with any additional questions.

With 31 events annually, you can be a part of every exciting occasion!
